Debut Single Release on January 10th

Soulful Americana duo, Hymn and Heart releases their debut single, “Heartbreak Don’t Care” on January 10th, 2020.  Inspired by the devastating fires that hit Gatlinburg, TN shortly after they spent their anniversary there, the song was written with the thought that heartbreak doesn’t discriminate. The Nashville based couple, Erinn Bates and Glenn Ziser, met at Belmont University and got married on the white sands of Waimanalo beach in Oahu, Hawaii. Before joining together musically, Erinn sang lead vocals and played mandolin in a duo that performed across the country and opened for several artists including Montgomery Gentry and Darryl Worley. Glenn traveled with a percussion group and composed music for daytime television. Glenn’s compositions for Guiding Light earned him recognition for his contribution to an Emmy award for “Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for a Drama Series”.  Growing up in Southern California and Las Vegas, Glenn brings a laid back west coast vibe to Erinn’s native Nashville country roots. Their fresh combination of soulful songwriting and beautiful harmonies is reminiscent of Little Big Town meets the Americana duo, Buddy and Julie Miller.
